Darian Woehr is an award-winning documentary filmmaker currently based in Washington, DC.
She has traveled the world telling stories of conservation, climate change and defining home. She is a founder of The Home Collective, a long term documentary project exploring the concept of home and its definitive role in shaping our future.
Darian was named a 2020 Adobe Resident, a National Geographic Society grant recipient, a Her Wild Vision Initiative member, the 2019 Hearst Multimedia National Champion and has also been recognized by The Society of Environmental Journalists, College Photographer of the Year and The Online Journalism Awards. Her work has been featured in publications such as The Washington Post, Associated Press, BBC, HuffPost and NPR. Through filmmaking, Darian has quenched her thirst for constant exploration and artistic expression that captures all forms of life.
